Nursery Assisatant

A nurturing nursery setting in Nuneaton is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their Early Years team. As a result, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s early development through play‑based learning, routines and positive interactions. In addition, the setting is ideally seeking someone with a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification, or an EYFS‑specific qualification, to ensure you can confidently contribute to high‑quality provision. Furthermore, you’ll work closely with the nursery staff to create a warm, stimulating and safe environment where children feel happy, secure and ready to explore. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years and eager to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Early Years learners through play‑based activities
• Assisting with daily routines, snack times and personal care
• Helping to create a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Encouraging communication, social skills and independence
• Working collaboratively with the nursery team
• Contributing to observations and early development milestones

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification or EYFS‑specific qualification (preferred)
• Experience working with Early Years children
• A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full‑time availability with an ASAP start
• Interest in working as a Nursery Assistant in Nuneaton
