The Role ✨

We are now recruiting a committed Nursery Assistant to join the school in January 2026 for the Spring Term, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will:

  • Work alongside teachers and practitioners to deliver engaging early years provision.
  • Support children’s development through play‑based and structured activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help children build confidence and social skills.
  • Create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes exploration and growth.
  • Assist with daily routines and contribute to wider school activities.

By stepping into this position, you will play an active role in shaping children’s first experiences of education and helping them thrive.

The Ideal Candidate 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine passion for early years education. Ideally, you will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred).
  • Demonstrate experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Stay organised and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Adapt creatively to meet diverse developmental needs.
  • Approach challenges with positivity and resilience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
