Nursery Assistant

This warm and supportive Coventry nursery is seeking a full‑time Nursery Assistant with solid hands‑on experience in early years settings. With her background working directly with young children, she creates calm routines, supports learning‑through‑play and helps children feel safe, settled and ready to explore. Moreover, she works closely with staff throughout the day to deliver structured activities, maintain a nurturing environment and respond confidently to varied developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Early years supervision that keeps routines calm and consistent
• Play‑based learning to support communication, confidence and early development
• Personal care support including feeding, hygiene and naptime routines
• Outdoor learning delivered safely and purposefully
• Behaviour guidance using warm, steady communication
• Close teamwork with nursery practitioners and room leaders

What We’re Looking For

• Strong nursery experience (essential)
• Calm, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Confidence supporting early development and routines
• Ability to follow safeguarding and EYFS expectations
• Full‑time availability
• Interest in Coventry‑based nursery roles
