🌱 Nursery Practitioner – Tamworth (Immediate Start)🌱
Zest Education is excited to be recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner who is ready to join a warm and welcoming early years setting in Tamworth. This role begins ASAP and continues throughout the academic term, and it can also lead to extended opportunities afterwards.
The nursery creates a nurturing, child-centred atmosphere where children learn, play and grow with confidence. As you walk through the setting, you’ll notice bright indoor spaces, well-resourced play areas and a spacious outdoor learning environment. Together, these features encourage exploration, creativity and positive early relationships. The staff team works collaboratively and consistently strives to deliver high-quality early years education.
In this position, you will play a key part in children’s daily learning and development. You will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities, while also creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment. Additionally, you will build strong, positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents. As you follow the EYFS guidelines, you will contribute to observations and assessments and work closely with the wider early years team to ensure every child feels supported.
The ideal practitioner will:
Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)
Bring experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Show enthusiasm, patience and a naturally nurturing approach
Communicate clearly and work well within a team
Adapt effectively to children’s individual needs while staying proactive and reliable
Zest Education offers a competitive rate of pay, and as you settle into this role, you’ll also gain access to opportunities across Tamworth and the surrounding areas. Furthermore, you’ll receive ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and have the chance to explore additional placements or long-term positions.
If you’re passionate about early years education and eager to make a meaningful impact this year, we would love to hear from you.
