Part-Time KS2 Teacher – Solihull

Part-Time Primary Teacher | KS2 PPA & Intervention Cover | Solihull | Long-Term Opportunity

Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting for a part-time KS2 Teacher to join a busy and thriving junior school in Solihull. This long-term teaching opportunity is due to start at the end of September and will continue until at least Easter 2027.

This welcoming school has built a strong reputation within the local community and maintains close links with the local church. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2, covering PPA time and leading targeted intervention sessions to help pupils achieve their full potential. This position will be working 2.5 days per week which can be flexible (0.5 contract).

The Role

As a part-time KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 classes during PPA cover
  • Lead small group and targeted intervention sessions
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
  • Contribute to the positive and inclusive ethos of the school

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Can deliver engaging and effective interventions
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to raising attainment
