Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time PPA teaching role in West Bromwich?

A popular and well-established two-form entry primary school is seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join their team from the end of September 2026 on an ongoing, flexible basis. This exciting opportunity offers a 0.4 contract (2 days per week) and involves teaching across a range of year groups and classes throughout the school.

This role would suit an experienced teacher who enjoys variety, thrives in different classroom environments, and is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching across the primary age range.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Be confident teaching across a range of year groups and abilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be reliable, organised, and flexible
  • Work effectively as part of a wider school team

The Role

As a PPA Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across the school
  • Cover teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time
  • Teach mixed ability classes across multiple year groups
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Ensure continuity of learning within each class
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
