Part-Time PPA Teacher – Hall Green (Birmingham)

Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time teaching role in a thriving infant school?

Zest Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded two-form entry infant school in the Hall Green area to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher. This exciting opportunity is due to start week commencing 14th September and will continue until October half term.

The Role

As the school’s PPA Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS and KS1 classes
  • Provide high-quality cover during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time
  • Adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive staff team

The school serves a diverse community, with a high proportion of pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As such, the successful candidate must be confident adapting teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
  • Is confident supporting pupils with SEND and EAL needs
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Is flexible, adaptable and quick to build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a positive attitude to the classroom
