Are you an experienced and qualified SENCO looking for part-time work? Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a SEND school in Meriden for a part-time SENCO to start in June on long-term cover, 3 days per week. As a SENCO, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities to reach their full potential.

The school you will be working with support secondary-aged students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Working full-time on long-term cover, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.  Having experience with EHCPs will be required for this role.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
