Zest Education is looking for a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school just outside of Tamworth. If you have experience as a teaching assistant and a heart for supporting children in their learning journey, we want to hear from you! This role is set to start in April for the remainder of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in daily activities
– Assist with group activities and 1:1 work
– Help with administrative tasks as needed
– Provide a caring and supportive environment for students
– Ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
– Level 3 qualification in education (not required but preferred)
– Previous experience as a teaching assistant
– Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work well in a team

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
