We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable school in Great Barr. This part-time position offers flexibility, allowing you to work three days a week starting from January 2024. The school is open to discussing which days would suit you best.
The school is a busy one form entry school provide an education for pupils from Nursery through to Year 6. The school also aims to create a positive and secure environment enabling all pupils to reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and learning activities.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help.
- Supervising students during class time and on school premises.
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborating with the teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback.

The pay for this role will range from £75 to £85 a day.
