PE Teacher

Job Description

Exciting opportunity – full-time PE Teacher to join the team at a high-performing secondary school in the Staffordshire area from January 2025. The role is to run for the rest of the academic year.

The school are proud to be an inclusive community supporting the student’s and staff’s well-being and individual needs. The school is a ‘Good’ OFSTED-rated school looking for a motivated and determined individual to join the wider PE department. The successful candidate will be motivated and creative with the ability to plan adaptable lessons depending on the weather and the space available to them.

The successful applicant will have:
  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and wanting to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities

Rates of pay vary depending on experience.
