Zest Education is working with a secondary school in Derby seeking a qualified PE teacher to join their team. This full-time position will begin in April 2025 and run for the remainder of the academic year. The school specifically requires a male teacher for supervision reasons in the changing rooms.
Location: Derby
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time until the end of the academic year
Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS
– Passion for Physical Education with strong subject knowledge for KS3 and KS4
– Team player with a willingness to engage in extracurricular PE activities
– Comfortable with supervision duties in changing rooms

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
