Zest are looking to recruit a full time Female PE teacher for a secondary school in the Telford area from April 2024 for a minimum of one term. This role is only open to females due to changing room supervision being required.
The school is a ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school looking for a motivated and determined individual to joining the wider PE department. The successful candidate will be motivated and creative with the ability to plan adaptable lessons depending on the weather and the space available. Subject knowledge up to KS4 is essential with some knowledge at KS 5 being an advantage.
A successful candidate will have the following:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
- A Passion for sport and the subject of PE with exceptional knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum (KS5 not essential but would be advantageous).
- Desire to work as part of the larger PE department
- The ability to get involved with any extracurricular PE clubs and activities as and when needed.
