Join our team at Zest Education teaching Physics to Years 10 to 13 in a high-performing Secondary School in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This exciting role will commence after the October 2024 half-term and is expected to continue at least until the Summer term, with a potential permanent position available to the right candidate.
The school you will be working in is a large and busy secondary school, home to a diverse cohort of vibrant and energetic students. Celebrating individuality, the school is known for its goal to nurture students’ unique strengths while also constructively targeting required areas of improvement.
As part of the science department, you will join a team of highly experienced and adaptive staff who are committed to supporting new members of the team, aiming to ensure that you will thrive in this environment and enjoy your work in this truly fulfilling role. The Headteacher is a forward-thinking and passionate leader of a dedicated body of staff, popular among both students and fellow teachers, who places great importance on inspiring students, fostering in them a real love for their subjects.
To be successful in this role, you must be fully qualified with a PGCE or UK equivalent qualification and ample experience teaching both GCSE and A-level Physics will be essential. A passion for your subject in this vibrant environment will serve you well in this role, along with the ability to engage students in exam preparation, keeping them motivated and enthusiastic.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
