Physics Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking a full-time Physics Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in the Halesowen area. This is a full time position where planning and marking will be required. The position is due to commence in February 2025 and will run for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Delivering high-quality Physics lessons to students
– Planning and preparing engaging lesson plans
– Assessing and providing feedback on student progress
– Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials
– Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and achievement
– Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
– Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Relevant degree in Physics or related field
– Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level preferred
– Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Physics
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Organised and efficient in planning and marking
