A well regarded secondary school in North Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield) have asked us to source a qualified Physics Teacher to start with them ASAP. This role will initially be for one term, but may extend for the right person.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience of teaching Science, ideally with a specialism of Physics up to GCSE level (A level would be advantageous). We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers or experienced teachers. Please email Mike@zesteducation.co.uk
Planning and marking will also be involved, along with being a vibrant member of this thriving Science department.
This is a very popular school in the Birmingham local authority, where expectations for students and teachers are high. Excellent communication skills and effective behaviour management are mandatory.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
