Play Worker

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

Start: ASAP

Hours: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Pay: £14.25 /ph

Zest Education are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic Play Worker to join a thriving Primary school in Cannock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help plan a range of activities for children aged 3-11 throughout the year.
  • Motivate and encourage students to participate in activities.
  • Support other staff in maintaining Ofsted standards of care.
  • To help prepare nutritional snacks for the children.
  • Promoting positive interactions and good behaviour within the group.

You Will Need:

  • Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one).
  • Understanding around safeguarding and child protection.
  • A nurturing, positive can-do attitude.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
