Part-Time PPA Teacher (0.4)

Duration: September – December 2026 (Autumn term)
Location: Northfield

Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a popular and well‑regarded Infant School in Northfield for a Part-Time PPA Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a 0.4 contract, ideal for a dedicated and flexible teacher looking for a short‑term role within a supportive and friendly school environment. The school enjoys a strong local reputation and is proud of its positive Ofsted outcomes, inclusive ethos and committed staff team.

The Role:

  • Delivering high-quality PPA cover across EYFS and Key Stage 1
  • Maintaining continuity of learning in line with class teachers’ planning
  • Creating a warm, engaging and consistent learning environment for pupils
  • Working collaboratively with staff to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing
  • Flexibility to work across Monday, Tuesday and Friday ideally

Person Specification:

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds valid QTS
  • Is experienced in EYFS and KS1
  • Has a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Is friendly, approachable and a strong team player
  • Demonstrates consistency and reliability
  • Brings a good sense of humour and positive attitude to school life
