Part-Time PPA Teacher (0.4) – Hall Green, Birmingham

Flexible Working Opportunity | Long-Term Role | EYFS & KS1 Focus

Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time teaching role in Birmingham? Zest is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious infant school seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join their team on a 0.4 contract.

This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity offering flexibility on working days, although Friday is essential as one of your contracted days.

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS and KS1, providing PPA cover and ensuring learning remains engaging, inclusive and purposeful.

We’re looking for a teacher who is:

  • Confident teaching across both EYFS and Key Stage 1
  • Compassionate, patient and nurturing in their approach
  • A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Experienced in supporting children from diverse backgrounds, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
  • Flexible, organised and committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all learners

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive and professional attitude
