PPA Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education exclusively working with a Primary school in the Aston area of Birmingham. The role that is available is for a 4 day a week PPA Teacher to start in February 2023 for the full academic year.

The school is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated with ‘Outstanding’ qualities. The school has just had some renovations to the building and grounds completed which has improved the facilities across the school. The facilities on offer are designed to provide a better learning experience and a better teaching environment. The School have provided excellent learning development centres with sensory rooms and time-out areas. The school also has some specially designed areas for children who struggle with the distractions of a ‘normal’ classroom. The goal of this development is to create an encompassing environment for all academic abilities.

The successful candidate must be able to adapt their teaching styles to suit the varying academic abilities that are at this school as well as the differing year groups within the PPA role. All planning will be provided by the main class teacher, so it is important that the successful candidate has good understanding of across year curriculum. Good communication is also important and the class teacher will rely heavily on feedback during their PPA time.

Both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers will be considered for this role but those with across school experience will be at an advantage. Support will be given to the successful candidate to ensure a smooth transition.
