Part-Time PPA Teacher Job – Northfield, Birmingham (September 2026 Start)

Zest Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield, Birmingham from September 2026.

This long-term teaching role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community, with the option to start in late July 2026 (final week of summer term) to support transition and build relationships with pupils and staff ahead of the new academic year.

  • Role: Part-Time PPA Teacher (Primary)
  • Location: Northfield, Birmingham
  • Start Date: September 2026 (with optional early start in July)
  • Contract: 0.6 (3 days per week)
  • Duration: Until at least Easter 2027
  • Key Stages: KS1 and Lower KS2

📚 About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to secure a long-term PPA teaching role in a well-established Birmingham primary school.

As a PPA Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Cover classes during Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
  • Maintain continuity and a positive learning environment across year groups
