Primary KS2 Teacher

Job Description

A welcoming Warwick primary school is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join their team on a part‑time basis. This role suits someone who brings strong curriculum knowledge, confident classroom practice and a warm, engaging approach. With a supportive staff team and well‑structured routines, you’ll step into a class that’s ready for a teacher who can bring consistency, creativity and clear expectations.

Furthermore you’ll plan purposeful lessons, guide pupils through key KS2 skills and create a classroom environment where children feel motivated, secure and ready to learn. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact across the phase.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging KS2 lessons that build confidence and support progress
  • Plan and assess learning to meet curriculum expectations
  • Create a positive classroom culture with clear routines and behaviour strategies
  • Work closely with KS2 staff to maintain consistency across the phase
  • Support pupils with varied needs through adaptive teaching and targeted strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and wider school staff

 

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or PGCE (essential)
  • Strong KS2 teaching experience or confident ECT
  • Part‑time availability
  • Organised, proactive and enthusiastic teaching style
