About the role

A welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for someone who can create engaging, inclusive lessons and build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families. Whether you specialise in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, the school will match you to the year group that best suits your strengths.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour‑support skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons
  • Confident assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, nurturing and resilient approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

 

Day‑to‑day duties

  • Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Contributing to wider school life, planning and events

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
