Zest Education is currently working with a delightful school in Swadlincote that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting from May 2024 until July 2024, with the possibility of extending into the new academic year if it’s a good fit for both parties.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
– Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to student development

Responsibilities:
– Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Assisting students with their learning activities and providing one-on-one support when needed
– Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
– Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events

Pay will begin from £76.92 a day and will depend on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
