Job Description

Primary Supply Teacher – Alsager

Flexible teaching, supportive schools, and the chance to make a real impact across the local area.

Pay – £130-£170 per day, if long term, paid to scale from day one

About the Role

A network of primary schools in Alsager is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide short‑term and longer‑term cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role suits teachers who enjoy variety, adaptability, and the freedom to choose when and where they work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons using existing plans or your own where needed
  • Create a calm, positive classroom environment that supports learning
  • Adapt quickly to different year groups, routines, and school cultures
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and clear communication
  • Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confidence teaching across primary phases
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for supporting children’s learning in diverse settings
