Primary Teacher – Lichfield (Start: January 2026)

Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire
Start Date: After Christmas – Spring Term 2026
Contract: Full-time, with the possibility of extension
Salary: Competitive daily rate (paid to scale)

About the Role

The successful candidate will take on a full classroom teaching role within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (depending on experience and preference). You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in your pupils. You’ll work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure all learners make strong progress across the curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records.

  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international qualification.

  • Proven classroom teaching experience within a primary setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A positive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
