Zest Education are proud to be working with a brilliant, welcoming primary school in the heart of Lichfield, who are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join their team from January 2026 for the Spring term. This Lichfield-based school is well-respected in the local area for its warm and supportive ethos. Staff, pupils, and parents work closely together to create a positive learning environment where every child can flourish. The successful candidate will take on a full classroom teaching role within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (depending on experience and preference). You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in your pupils. You’ll work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure all learners make strong progress across the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records.
Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international qualification.
Proven classroom teaching experience within a primary setting.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A positive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
