Primary Teacher

A welcoming primary school in Coventry is looking for a committed qualified teacher to join their team on a part‑time basis. As a result, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that support pupils’ progress across the curriculum. In addition, you’ll work closely with the school’s leadership and support staff to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment. Furthermore, your QTS/PGCE training will enable you to confidently plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher seeking a flexible role while still making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Assessing learning and adapting teaching where needed
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Contributing to the wider school community where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• QTS or PGCE (essential)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to deliver high‑quality teaching across primary year groups
• A proactive, supportive and flexible approach
• Part‑time availability with an ASAP start
• Interest in working as a part‑time teacher in Coventry
