Primary Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience – Stafford

Full‑Time, Long‑Term

£93-£97 per day 

Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a friendly mainstream primary school in Stafford that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long‑term role where you’ll become a valued part of the school community.

You’ll work closely with pupils across the school, including children with special educational needs who benefit from patient, consistent support. If you love helping young learners grow in confidence, this role will suit you perfectly.

You will:

  • Support learning in class and during small‑group sessions
  • Build positive relationships with pupils who need extra help
  • Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
  • Bring energy, empathy and a can‑do attitude every day

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with children
  • A genuine passion for supporting SEN
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
