Job Description

A welcoming primary school in Leamington Spa is looking for an enthusiastic qualified teacher to join their team from September. As a result, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that support pupils’ progress across the curriculum. In addition, the school can offer both full‑time and part‑time timetables, giving you the flexibility to choose what best suits your circumstances. Furthermore, your experience supporting pupils with SEND will enable you to adapt learning effectively, promote inclusion and ensure every child feels confident and supported. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher seeking a flexible role within a warm, supportive school environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapting teaching for pupils with SEND
  • Assessing learning and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Contributing to the wider school community where appropriate

 

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or PGCE (essential)
  • SEND experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality teaching across primary year groups
  • A proactive, supportive and flexible approach
  • Availability for either part‑time or full‑time work
  • Interest in working as a teacher in Leamington Spa

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
