Qualified Teacher – KS1

A warm and inclusive primary school in Leamington Spa is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative teacher who is committed to delivering high‑quality learning experiences and supporting early development in a nurturing environment.

You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting phonics and early literacy, and helping pupils build confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a KS1 class and delivering well‑structured, engaging lessons
• Supporting early reading, writing and phonics development
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑organised classroom environment
• Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
• Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
• Building strong relationships with pupils and families

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong classroom experience within KS1
• Confident planning and delivering high‑quality lessons
• Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills
• Warm, enthusiastic and child‑centred approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Ability to start ASAP
