Zest Education have the privilege of working closely with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school located in Wolverhampton looking to recruit an RE Teacher full time from September 2024.

The School had a ‘good’ Ofsted rating in their last inspection resulting in them continuing to grow and excel with their academic results year on year. The schools ethos focuses on growing the students to reach their full potential, empowering them for life.

Religious Education is a core subject within the school so a successful applicant will have to be an RE teacher with a creative and dynamic approach, willing to take on teaching multiple classes across KS3 and KS4. The candidate will also be working as part of the large RE department to plan and feedback on lessons and other departmental matters.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Religious Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  6. Creative and innovative teaching methods, the ability to motivate students
