EYFS Reception Teacher – Full Time – Moseley, Birmingham 🍎

September 2026 Start | Autumn Term Contract | MPS (M2–M6+)

A vibrant and nurturing Infant school in Moseley is seeking a skilled and motivated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for the autumn term.

This is a full-time teaching role with complete class responsibility which is ideal for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to delivering a high standard of early years education.

You will take ownership of a Reception class, ensuring pupils receive a stimulating and supportive start to school life.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering a broad, engaging EYFS curriculum
  • Overseeing assessment, progress tracking and reporting
  • Building strong relationships through parent communication and meetings
  • Contributing actively to the wider school community, including enrichment activities
  • Working alongside a partner teacher within a 2-form entry structure

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Demonstrates secure EYFS knowledge and understands its impact on early development
  • Is an experienced classroom practitioner (M2–M6 or equivalent)
  • Brings energy, creativity and warmth to their teaching
  • Is organised, reliable and reflective in their practice
  • Works well as part of a supportive and professional team
  • Shows a genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing and achievement
