Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Rednal, Rubery
Contract: Full Time, Maternity Cover
Start Date: October Half Term 2026 (with induction and handover days at the end of September)
Contract Duration: Until the end of the Summer Term 2027

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our warm and welcoming Methodist infant school in Rednal, Rubery. This is a full-time maternity cover position, commencing after October half term, with opportunities to spend time in school during late September to meet the children, work alongside the current class teacher and ensure a smooth handover.

Our school is a small, popular and caring infant setting where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. We are entering an exciting new chapter under the leadership of our recently appointed Headteacher, supported by an experienced and highly effective Senior Leadership Team.
