We are recruiting for a reception class teacher at a sought-after primary school Edgbaston area of Birmingham. The position will be starting after Easter and will continue until the end of the academic year. This is long term sick leave to cover, and full planning will be provided.
This popular primary school has an excellent reputation with exemplary academic results across all year groups. The school aims to provide all children with essential life skills and ensures all pupils develop into independent and hardworking individuals.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold valid QTS
- Be consistent in maintaining high standards and positive behaviour for learning
- Demonstrate the highest regard for health and safety and safeguarding procedures
- Have a passion for teaching and the EYFS curriculum
- Be a confident and reliable individual
The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team. Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
