We are recruiting for a reception teacher at an outstanding school in Solihull. This position will be starting at Easter and will continue for 9 months covering maternity leave.

This fantastic primary school has high expectations of its staff and pupils and aims to provide a caring and stimulating environments for all who attend. The school is a 2-form entry and has excellent resources across the school. Behaviour is exemplary across all year groups and children are eager to learn on a daily basis.

The successful candidate must be a hard-working and professional individual who is fun, engaging, and confident. You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and understand the importance of learning essential life skills from an early age.

This is a full-time position, with full class responsibilities expected, and all applicants must be able to commit to the entirety of the role. There will be a period of time prior to the half term where you will be introduced to the class and the school to ensure a smooth handover with minimal disruption to the children.

The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team.  Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
