School Administrator

Zest Education is recruiting an organised and experienced School Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive school in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid school office experience who can hit the ground running and support the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy school environment.

 Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leaders, teachers, and the wider school community

• Manage attendance records, registers, and pupil data using SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom

• Handle parent communication, including phone calls, emails, and letters

• Maintain confidential records in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies

• Support with admissions, pupil reports, and updating school databases

• Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies professionally and efficiently

• Assist with financial administration, ordering supplies, and managing invoices (if required)

• Ensure the school office runs smoothly and provides a warm, professional first point of contact

 Ideal Candidate:

✅ Proven experience as an Administrator in a school setting (essential)
✅ Strong knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom school systems
✅ Excellent organisational and communication skills
✅ Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
✅ Professional, friendly, and adaptable
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
