School Receptionist

Key Details

Location: Leek, Staffordshire

Start: ASAP

Hours: Mon – Fri (8am – 4pm)

PAY: £14.25 /Per Hour

Zest Education are looking for a friendly, organised and confident School Receptionist to join a thriving Primary School in Leek, Staffordshire. You will be the first point of contact for students, staff and parents, helping to keep the school running smoothly and making everyone feel welcome!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Managing phone calls and emails efficiently.
  • Supporting attendance processes, including logging absences.
  • Helping parents, students and staff with any queries.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

 

About you

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Warm, approachable, and professional
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Confident using IT Systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS (Or are willing to complete one).
  • Have previous experience in a similar role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
