Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school in South Birmingham, close to Harborne. The school have asked for our help in finding a Science Teacher, that can teach across KS3 – KS4. The position will be full time, and will start in September 2022, this will be for a minimum of one term.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-supported team of staff, that are caring, supportive and committed to ensuring that every child achieves their very best. The school is a busy secondary, so the successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced and hard-working environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A great passion for the subject of Science and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but isn’t essential)
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.
