Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school close to the Walsall area, the school are looking for a Science Teacher, that can teach across KS3 – KS4. The position will be full time, and will start after Easter 2024, this will be for the remainder of the academic year.
The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals. The school is also located is a popular area so is easily accessible by private or public transport.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A great passion for the subject of Science and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but isn’t essential)
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.
