Zest Education are currently searching for an engaging and professional Science teacher to join a highly successful Secondary School in the Erdington area. This is a full-time role due to commence as soon as possible. The role is expected to run until December 2023.

The successful applicant will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students across KS3 to KS5, teaching both beginner and advanced Science. Planning and marking is a requirement of this role, and the successful applicant will also be responsible for providing constructive feedback and building a positive learning environment for all.

The school is also located just a short distance from the centre of Birmingham and benefits from fantastic public transport links and on-site parking.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for Science based subjects and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS3 to KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management
