Zest Education are working alongside a high performing secondary school in the Stoke on Trent area to resource a Science teacher to work across KS3 and KS4. This role is full time for an initial period of one term to start September 2024.

The ideal candidate will be joining a supportive and creative wider science department. They will need excellent subject knowledge up to KS4 as well as exceptional classroom and behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
  • An enthusiasm for science with exceptional knowledge across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Desire to work as part of a wider team, supporting them as and when they need
  • The ability to effectively mark, plan and deliver lessons of a high quality.
  • Have classroom and behaviour management experience.

This school is open to supporting an ECT in this role however, it is also open to NQTS and experienced teachers as well.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
