Are you a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Zest Education is delighted to be working with a reputable secondary school in Aston, Birmingham, to recruit a Science Teacher for a temporary position starting in April 2025; this will be full time and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

Job Summary:
As a Science Teacher at this secondary school, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a diverse range of students, ensuring that the curriculum requirements are met. You will have the opportunity to teach all aspects of Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to students in Key Stage 3 and possibly Key Stage 4. You will also be expected to contribute to the planning and assessment processes as well as participate in extra-curricular activities related to Science.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Proven experience teaching Science to secondary school students
– Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
– Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
– Excellent classroom management skills
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands
