Zest Education are proud to be working closely with a ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school in the Lichfield area, looking to recruit a qualified science teacher. This is a full-time role starting May 2024 for a minimum of one half term,

The school designs their curriculum to appropriately challenge their students throughout all key stages with the support of specialist teachers. The successful candidate would be working as part of the larger science department taking an active role in lunch time and afterschool workshops and revision sessions.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • An enthusiasm for science with exceptional knowledge across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Desire to work as part of a wider team, supporting them as and when
  • The ability to effectively mark, plan and deliver lessons of a high quality
  • Have classroom and behaviour management experience

This school is open to supporting an ECT in this role however, it is also open to NQTS and experienced teachers as well.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
