Science Teacher, Stourbridge

Job Description

Zest Education are proud to be working with a secondary school in the Stourbridge area who are looking for a teacher of science to join their school from April until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary full-time role.

The school work to provide all of their students with a broad and balanced curriculum, outstanding teaching at all key stages and a motivating and energetic learning environment underpinned by an atmosphere of mutual respect and exciting extra-curricular opportunities.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Science and able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £143-£199 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
