Job Description

Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school in the Walsall area who are looking for a science teacher to join their expanding team in September 2022, where staff receive the best possible working and employment conditions and career opportunities.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion and knowledge for the subject of science (Biology and Chemistry are essential) and can teach the curriculum from KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
