Full-Time | September Start | Telford Area

Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in the Telford area, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department from September on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students to develop a love of history while delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role

  • Full-time History Teacher
  • September start
  • Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential)
  • Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching History within a UK secondary school
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is passionate about inspiring young people and raising achievement
  • Has a current enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through Zest Education
