Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Dudley

Zest Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Dudley to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey. The role is initially for one term, with the potential to extend for the remainder of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects

• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and accessible lessons

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs

• Help to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable)

• A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and staff

• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
