A supportive mainstream primary school in Nuneaton is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team full‑time. As a result, you’ll be working closely with pupils who need additional support with emotional regulation, behaviour and day‑to‑day engagement in the classroom. In addition, you’ll help create a calm, structured and reassuring environment where children feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Furthermore, you’ll work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to deliver consistent, nurturing support that helps pupils build confidence, resilience and positive routines. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive and passionate about supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
