Job Description

Job Title: Full Time Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Location: SEN School in Stratford-upon-Avon

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities, and will be committed to supporting their educational and personal development.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN
– Support students with their academic work, social skills development, and emotional wellbeing
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
– Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students’ care

Requirements:
– Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is preferred
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs
