Job Description

Are you an experienced SEND teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity at a small SEN school in the heart of Tamworth? Zest Education is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled teacher to join our team that is welcoming to both staff and students. This school has been rated as Outstanding and offers an enriching environment for both staff and students.

Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent position

Key Responsibilities:
– Create engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of SEN children with various disabilities
– Provide 1:1 support to children who require additional assistance
– Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:
– Must have extensive experience working with SEN children
– Compassionate and patient with a genuine interest in helping children with disabilities
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
